Why Participate?

Through the WiGIS one-on-one Mentorship Program, a mentee works with the paired mentor to design the goals and virtually meet with mentors at least once a month to achieve their goals. Possible benefits include, but not limited to:

  • Personalized career guidance

  • Networking and collaboration opportunities

  • Enhanced leadership and communication skills

  • Greater self-confidence and clarity in career direction

  • Support in work-life balance and professional transitions

  • Recognition and fulfillment through sharing and learning

Program Eligibility and Expectations

  •  All mentees must be active Women in GIS members only.  (Not a member? Become a member here )

  • First-time mentees will be prioritized due to limited mentor availability.

  • All participants are expected to adhere to the minimum time commitment expectations of the program. Each  mentor mentee pair must meet at least once per month and need to be available to commit at least 4 hours a month for the entirety of the 6-month program.
