About the mentorKelly Wright is a white woman with brown hair wearching a light blue button down shirt and smiling.

Kelly Wright is the GIS Analyst for the City of Monroe, Ohio, where she develops and manages web-based GIS solutions to support public works, safety, and planning initiatives. With more than a decade of experience in ArcGIS Online, she specializes in helping organizations streamline operations and share spatial data effectively. Kelly holds a Master’s in Geographic Information Science from the University of Southern California and is both a GISP (2018) and Part 107 sUAS certified. She serves on the Executive Board of the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals (KAMP) and leads the Southwest Ohio GIS User Group (SWOGIS). A passionate advocate for professional growth and equity in the geospatial field, Kelly regularly offers workshops on career development, salary negotiation, and technical skills, and is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of GIS professionals—especially women and underrepresented groups in tech.
