CoP October 5th Wednesday Special Edition: On Leadership in GIS

We will be talking about what leadership in GIS means! What are the different roles that leaders have in GIS, and what that might look like to you as a technical individual contributor, as well as what it means to pursue a leadership track in GIS and other technical fields.

Facilitated by Shannon Foxx Day, Sr. Program Manager for Genex Systems. Shannon has worked in consulting for the past 10 years as both an individual contributor and leader, and knows how to bridge the gap between the two. She's worked in many sectors, from sanitary sewer to planning, in various roles from analyst to business development. Shannon has a BS in Project Management and an MBA. She's also the host of the Women in GIS Podcast: Geographers without Borders!
