The Women in GIS Professional Development Committee Presents a presentation series available to the public! Join us at noon Pacific on the First Friday of every month for a round of Lightning Talks.

The 2026 Monthly Lightning Talks: GIS in Action!

It's a smorgasbord of geospatial talks - come see how others are using GIS for their work, research, or fun! Each month we'll host lightning talks on any topic showing GIS in Action. Come see how others are using GIS to analyze data, make maps, tell stories, research, and more!

Have a GIS project or related work that you'd like share? Sign up to present at one of the monthly sessions.

Lightning Talks are 5 to 10 minute presentations. Come to listen and/or sign up to be a presenter. These are open to everyone to present and/or attend - membership not required!

These are held remotely via Zoom on the First Friday of each month. Simply register to attend and the Zoom link will be emailed to you.
